We're in! This move was actually not as hectic as others we've had. Mostly because we packed up slowly over time, we had tons of help moving this into and out of the moving truck, and, our friends/family actually stayed and helped unpack and put things away! Amazing! We are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family. I've included a picture of the front of the house for those of you who have never been here when the Fitzpatricks lived here. Its amazing. We are thrilled and so thankful to live here. Thank you Mark and Sarah!
Today I am thankful:
1) Moving without any major issues/problems
2) Everyone who helped us! Thank you: Nick, Becky, Kristen, Mom, Sarah, Daniel, Bethany, and Tim.
3) Gavin sleeping in his "big boy bed" last night without any fear - he did wake up once, but that is because Ez was screaming at the top of his lungs...
4) The thoughtful details Mark/Sarah planned when building this house. My mom commented on many of the amazing details on her blog (www.sherrygregorysblog.blogspot.com) , but I am beyond thrilled about all of the cupboard/drawer space, the beautiful kitchen, the dimmers for the lights/fan in every room(by the bed in the master bedroom), etc. I never noticed these things, I guess because it wasn't where I was living...
5) Shima being ok outside - I was worried she would whine a lot, but we have barely heard a peep out of her. I think she enjoys being out there in the sun during the day. And if you know me at all...you know I am enjoying her being out there too!(makes my end-of-feb. resolution much easier. If you don't know what I'm talking about, see feb. 22nd post)
6) My mom and Kristen staying extra long last night and organizing my kitchen, running all my dishes through the dishwasher before putting them away and organizing my bathrooms
7) The great coffee from Kean coffee this morning
8) Finding a few things last night that I thought I had lost in the move
9) For the big backyard already full of toys. Gavin played outside yesterday and today. He loves it!
10) Not hearing our neighbor's tv as she watches the 11pm news...
