Yes, this picture was taken of Gavin yesterday - after it had rained all night and was beautiful and sunny in the morning. He WAS dressed - I promise! He got his clothes all wet, then just wanted to undress. What a blessing this backyard is!!! He was outside at 6:30am on Monday morning playing...

Today I am thankful for:

1) Time with Sarah and Ben Monday and (Mark was here yesterday too!) Tuesday, and possibly today! They are leaving for 2 weeks on Friday and we are going to miss them!

2) The sunny skies today - meaning we can go to Disneyland

3) Feeling more "together" this morning - yesterday I felt like I was falling apart.

4) Gavin's gentle and tender heart. Yesterday morning I told Gavin I was tired and feeling cranky so I needed him to be my big helper and he patted my back and said in a gentle voice : "I know, I know." I got a lump in my throat...

5) My California King bed - room for Ezekiel to sleep with us last night so that I wouldn't have to get up so much. After being up 6+ times the night before, last night's 3 feedings were nothing!

6) Our oven here - I made cookies yesterday that were really good and I would have been able to only make 6 at a time in our toaster oven - much better to have a full sized oven!(plus I even made a casserole on Monday night for dinner!)

7) Pictures from my friend Sally this morning. Her cute pregnant belly excites me as I think about the joy and amazement a new life brings...her baby girl will be here in a few weeks!

8) Finally talking to Jason- my brother - and finding out he is in escrow in a condo about 10 minutes from us!! YES!! That will be fun for us all!

9) The cut on Shima's that is no longer bleeding...I didn't want to have to take her to the vet!

10) Knowing that every day is a gift from God. Thank you Lord, that I am alive today. I would rather be alive and tired than dead any day!!
