I find it kind of funny that I am still learning things about myself. Wouldn't you think I would already know me?? Well, something I have recently discovered is I love to bake. Should I repeat that? I love to bake! If you know me, you will probably be laughing, because I have always said I don't like cooking. If I do, I have to have the recipe down to the 1/8 of a teaspoon measured perfectly, on the stove for just the 8 minutes the recipe says, and so on. I have never viewed cooking as an enjoyable activity. Just a necessity. Now, however, I am blooming as a gourmet chef. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating. But just a little. On display for you today are pictures of my dessert I made last night for Nick and Becky. A chocolate mousse pastry ring. It was delicious!

1) Spending time with Nick and Becky last night. So good to see them again!

2) Finding out that I am not a failure at cooking/baking

3) Fun time at the mall with the boys yesterday

4) The lady in Diedrich's this morning that has EXCLUSIVELY breastfed her TRIPLETS for almost a YEAR!!! I told her she is amazing...and I truly believe she is!!!!!!!! WOW - what an inspiration! Just to give you insight, she has to pump every 2 hours during the day and every 3 hours at night to have enough milk. And I thought I was tired...puts things into perspective...

5) Sleeping in until 7:15 yesterday and 7:00 today--there is a big difference between 6am and 7am

6) The new sweatshirt I have to look forward to from Sarah!

7) Hearing Sarah's excitement over her huge running accomplishments! Its fun to hear her get excited about running!

8) Gavin playing with our neighbor, Peyton, yesterday

9) My new minty lip gloss - my mom showed it to me. Thanks, Mom!
