Good afternoon!

1) My mom being here for a lot of the day yesterday and hanging out with me and the kids and helping me put some decorating touches on the house. She is so good at that! She also treated me to Starbucks and lunch at Mothers, 2 of my favorite things(and especially exciting for me since we cut our budget in the coffee/eating out area)!!

2) Gavin doing so well on our potty-training quest. He now wants to wear underwear every day and we have had a few accidents here and there, but he is doing really well. Still doesn't want to poop in the potty, but that will come, in time, as my mom reminded me.

3) During dinner last night, Gavin wanted to sit up on the bench with Jason and I and he just ate off our plates and talked to himself in the mirror. Jason and I just looked at each other and laughed. He is such a character

4) Sarah and mark leaving their refrigerator here...we thought we were going to have to get a new one, but they decided to leave theirs for us, so we don't have to. And an added bonus is its really nice (I love water and ice in the door - and now we have it for the first time!) :-)

5) My new sweatshirt from Sarah. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6) The rainy weather

7) Jason's balloon-animal making abilities - we went to my friend's sons 1st birthday Sunday and Jason made balloon-animals for the kids and they LOVED it! Its such a cool thing to be able to do for people with kids! And he still gets calls for parties every once in awhile and thats an extra $80-100!

8) Mark and Sarah moving all their stuff out today - not that we really minded it in the garage, but it will be nice to organize our stuff in there and have some more space.

9) Watching Gavin with Mark today. He loves his Uncle Mark!

10) The trick my mom gave me to pour a tiny bit of water over gavin's legs as he is trying to pee - it has really helped a few times when he has to go, but he can't quite get there...Thanks Mom! :-)

Hey Carrie,

Michael doesn't seem to want to poop in the potty either. But I did start standing him up to pee and it has made a big difference. Good luck!
