The other day we decided to do a science experiment. We made a mixture of water, vinegar and backing soda and then tried different foods and objects to see if they sank or floated in the jar. It was great fun for all of us.

Violet is so funny and so different than the boys in many ways. One of those ways is her screaming. When she is excited, she will often scream a most shrill scream to let us know she's loving life. I think its adorable. She has different screams for different communication, but below she was screaming to get my attention.
Daniel and Bethany came into town Thurs because Daniel and Jason are doing a triathlon tomorrow. Yesterday we hung out downtown in the fog. It was fun - the boys especially loved playing soccer with Uncle Daniel and the rainbow colored kettle corn he bought them.
