Today was a day I have looked forward to for a long time. I DO love Saturdays, but no, that's not it. It was Kristen's bridal shower. The first of several, but the only one I will be at.A few years ago, Kris and I were having a hard time understanding why God wasn't bringing the right guy for her...such a frustration to her, and for me too. Its hard to see your friends with such passionate desires and hearing prayers that seem to fall on deaf ears.
Of course in His timing, the plan was laid out, and its so great to see what He has for Kristen - and Ryan! They will be married in 9 weeks. wow. To think of Kristen White married in 2 months...so crazy, but so awesome!! Praise God - because in this circumstance we get to SEE His answer. That's a privilege we don't always get.
*I'm so thankful for the time with Kristen yesterday and this morning. So good to be with someone who knows you so well - as she stated to me, so I reiterate: since she has moved to WA, I have a void....I miss her here tremendously.
*The great shower today for Kris thrown by 4 of us - Yummy fondue!
*My sock-slippers Daniel and Bethany got me for my birthday, I believe. They come in handy on these chilly nights
*A new good book--Poisonwood Bible--I'm sure many have read it. Its not new, just to me.

Awww... :) It's pretty amazing to see God's hand in both of our lives throughout the years, isn't it?? I am one blessed chica to have had such an amazing friend to walk alongside me through it all. I can't imagine any of this incredible season of life without you, Care!!! Love!
PS- you totally stole that top pic that was for MY blog... smooth move, slick. :)
PS- I finally bought creamer today so I can feed my addiction. Thanks for bringing it back. Just need a little cookie dough and some C.M.M. to complete the picture!
