So here we are, Sunday night...on the edge of a new week. A fresh start. To recreate the me I want to be...or the one the Lord is trying to mold me into...more patience, more compassion, more selfless.
I'm thankful for:
*The chance to try my parent's church today. It was a great service and the kids did fine in their classes
*Sleeping to the sound of rain last night
*Improptu time with my family last night before Daniel and Bethany headed back to SF
*A short visit with Sarah and Addison yesterday. She is such a cute girl. And oh....the clothes...
*A surprise night off work tonight - I guess not exactly a good thing, because one of my certifications expired without my knowledge so I can't work until I get it renewed (just finished it online), but I can't say I mind the night off!
*Dan and Judy coming over yesterday so I could finish cooking and go see Sarah without the boys since they are both getting over cough/colds. And the miniature rose plant Judy got for me -- I hope I can keep it alive!
*A clean house --as soon as I mop the floors in a few minutes!
