Jason did great and got the time he wanted and Sally kept me running at a good pace. Those of you who know Sally know she is an incredibly talented runner. When I run with her, she pushes me to my limits and I need it! She is encouraging and an amazing coach (she does it for a living!). I loved running with you, Sally! Thanks for slowing down for me :-)
My dad came down to hang out with the kids just in case I wasn't in yet before Jason's run, but I was, so he got to hang out with us for a bit and took the kids while I recovered for a little bit. Thanks Dad!
We asked G to take a picture - then Ez wanted to take one so the one above is G's and the one below is E's
We were laughing in this picture because we didn't think we were even in the picture - Ez was holding the camera crooked and we were shocked to find out he actually got us in it!
Our budding racer...he's asking when he can run a race - I'm going to find a kids Fun Run for him.Jason and I have talked about doing more races like this together. Its great because its an activity we both love and can enjoy together (even though we did different races). We look forward to more in the future. This race has gotten me excited about racing for another one...who knows when...

Hey Carrie, you HAVE to check out Carlee's blog (you can find it through mine). She had Bryson do the fun run in Long Beach and he's not even 3 yet. She's got pics and video and it's just too darling for words! I'm sure your boys will love running, too, because you guys love it! It's adorable how they want to be like mom and dad...
