Beach Day

OH MY GOSH! It was hot today. SO HOT! So the kids and I decided the beach was the best place to be so we could cool off in the water. Of course the boys had a blast and I got V to sleep in the stroller (I love the BOB) so we stayed until almost 4:45pm(we got there at 1)! Fun was had by all. The boys especially loved watching me run and jump into the water. They thought I was really cool when I did that. I love that expression on their faces : "my mom is the BEST!" I hope they don't lose that expression for a long, long time.

I let V chew on an apple core the other day and ever since every time she sees an apple she starts kicking her legs and screaming for it. I almost can't eat apples around her unless I want to surrender it immediately.

You can sort of see a rash on her arm...V has had a rash for over a week now. I took her to the Dr yesterday since it had been 6 days with no signs of going away and was told its just a virus - but keep her away from other babies so she doesn't pass it along. Big apologies to the other babies in our nursery at church on Sunday - J had her in first service (we didn't think anything of the rash!). Oops.

Still no signs of teeth here! V is 7 months - as of yesterday. One of these days I'll start solids with her. I'm not super motivated since she doesn't really need it yet. She shows no signs of being excessively hungry...still nursing every 3 - 3 1/2 hours and very satisfied with that.

Tomorrow my mom and I are going to take the kids back to Sea World! I'm excited!

SLEEP UPDATE: Last night V slept 8pm-5:15am - best yet! Good job V. I'd love her to go until 6, but baby steps here!
