Beach Day

These are a little out of order...

On the way home, I gave the boys a "special treat" Jason had brought home for them to keep them awake...I don't think its working

Unfortunately, the sugar revved Gavin and he didn't nap at all - Ez slept almost 3 hours!

Did you know baby powder gets sand off kids?

I have been wanting to take the kids to the beach all week and finally we did it today. Its a bit of a process (ok, not a bit...its a huge undertaking) to get everything together, find a spot and walk down there--rather dawdle down there at Ezekiel's speed. But, it was well worth it. We had a great time in the sand, and in the water.

And reverting back to my last post, its great to hear that other moms deal with the same issues with laundry(based on the comments)! Glad to hear I'm not alone. And as for my last comment about only having 2 sets of sheets...I was thinking about it and I don't really care. Sheets are one of those things that are expensive (especially for Cal-King beds) and you really don't need more than one set if you are good at laundry. Oh shoot. Count me out. I guess that's why I have 2 sets.
