These pictures are a collection known as "the Gavin pose." Lately, almost every time I try and take a picture of Gavin, he is doing this pose. He also likes others to do it too...
*Dan and Judy hanging out with the kids while I ran my long run yesterday - they had fun at Fashion Island and they said Ezekiel didn't whine once (who is this kid and where is mine?)...
*Shopping the day after Thanksgiving with my mom and sister-in-law Bethany. We had SO much fun. I wasn't going to go, but Friday morning I woke up wanting to be part of the action.
*My dad and brother Daniel watching my kids for 7 hours on Friday while I shopped
*Learning that my kids are ok without me - and facing the fact that I am indeed overprotective in a freakish way and I need to relax and trust that others can do a good job watching my kids too (my mom made me face that fact)
* Getting a lot of my Christmas shopping done on Friday - and inspiring me to finish the rest early too
*Gavin asking daily at least 6-7 times : a) can we get our Christmas tree today? b) is it Christmas yet? c) can I open my presents?
*Getting to see my family on Thanksgiving - and both kids went to bed at my parents house so I hung out until 11pm. It was really fun.
*My run yesterday was so great - 18 miles and I felt so good the whole time. Even better than last week...thats always encouraging
*Having tomorrow night off with Jason - we have barely seen each other the last 4 days...
*Plans to see some really good friends for dinner this week
