Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter - yesterday! We had a great time going to church and hanging out with my parents afterwards. We ate brunch and the kids had an Easter hunt from my parents and Jason and Angela. Then a few of us napped and I went to work while my parents packed the kids up and brought them to our house until Jason got home from work. I had an easy night of work and actually got off early, so I got home at 3:30am and after I slept had the whole day with my boys (all 3 of them! Jason's first day off since working 6 in a row).
We had a good day around the house and Jason cleaned our car like he always does - to perfection. Its great...I hope it stays that way for longer than 24 hours this time. I'm really going to try. Lets just say we could have fed a small country for a month with the amount of crumbs in the backseat and on the floor...
Tomorrow Jason is off again and we have our friend baby Reagster (as Gavin calls her) over, plus Gavins' friend is coming while his parents move. It'll be a nice, crazy day with 4 kids!

I hope you were all blessed with the amazing celebration of Jesus - RISEN. I was reading Sarah's blog and she was commenting that Easter should be a more significant celebration than Christmas. I agree. It is the foundation of our beliefs. If Jesus didn't rise...we got nothin'. Our pastor preached an amazing sermon that was not at all the ordinary Easter message. And I'm glad. He made one comment about the fact that in those days, women were not credible witnesses, so if an event was in question, the argument that a woman saw something was not "admissable." Meaning it would not persuade anyone if a woman claimed she saw a certain event. So when Mary Magdalene (did I spell that right?) was the one who saw that the tomb was empty, it wasn't an event in question, otherwise she would not have been the person provided to have witnessed it. It was an event that happened and there was no doubting or proving it. I thought that was really cool.
So now its Tuesday - I never finished this last night. Oops. Well, I'm off to tuck in Gavin and hang out with Jason. Pictures from Easter coming tomorrow.
