Jumping On

When you think about "jumping on the bandwagon" you usually think of it as a negative thing...like you are some kind of nerdy follower or something...well, I have to say I am jumping on the bandwagon of "blogging." And yes, I confess to making fun of blogging, but I have been really moved by Sarah's (Fitzpatrick) Thankful blog, as many other people have. I think Darren, my brother-in-law called her a trendsetter and I totally agree. She is incredible and I am proud to jump on her bandwagon(or Kenton Beshore's....).
I don't know that I will be able to post every day, but I'm going to try...I love the idea of recognizing little things during the day as things I should be thankful for. There are major things...things that have been on my prayer list for years that of course I recognize as God's hand...then there are little things I wouldn't think twice about, but now recognize them as God's hand in my every day life. Right now I am in the midst of a time where I can clearly see God's answer to my specific prayers, and with that, I begin my first "Thankful List."

1. Jason's job with LAPD

2. Our landlord wanting his condo back the exact time Mark and Sarah would need us to move into their house to rent it (you might have read this on Sarah's last night!) - I couldn't have planned it better!

3. Being able to move into a house for the first time in our 5 years of marriage...we are so excited just to have a garage and a backyard!!

4. Being able to run today while Gavin napped and Jason watched Ezekiel

5. Gavin's amazing memory and hilarious comments about things from months ago

6. Having a family that walks with God

7. My 1 year Bible that I am not behind in yet..

8. Ezekiel seeming to grow out of his "gas problems"

9. Mam pacifiers

10. Being treated to a great dinner at Newport Landing with Mark, Sarah, Ben, Paul and Tina

Yea!!! I'm so excited!! I think you will love the blessings you'll become more aware of as a result of making a list everyday. But like you said, don't feel like you have to post everyday and do whatever format you want to. I'm very excited!!
Great picture of Ez too!

I am so happy to see you've joined this bandwagon. I look forward to benefitting from your insights. See you at Ben's party.
