Still Here!!

So since our computer had to be "re-built" a few weeks ago, I have no picture program to download the most recent pics from our family yet. So...you'll have to excuse my lack of pics as I update you on our life. A few snippets:
* Gavin lost his other front tooth last week - he looks so cute with them both missing!
*I went to Seattle last week for almost 5 days and spent the time with my bff Kristen and her adorable little one - Owen. That guy stole my heart and I can't wait to see him again - though next time he won't be so small! It was so fun to just sit around and talk, laugh and just enjoy hanging out together. The time went way too fast, but I was ready to see my family on Wed when I flew back home.
*The kids had a fun Halloween with Jason (while I was out of town) trick-or-treating as : Batman, Recon Commando and a Ladybug.
*We continue to LOVE where we are living and I'm looking forward to "decorating" with my mom's assistance after Christmas:)
*Ezekiel has been coughing for 7 weeks now and toward the end of it, his asthma was starting to be more exacerbated - he's now on steroids, extra breathing treatments and antibiotics...so I think he's turning the corner - And speaking of Ezekiel...he'll be FOUR in a week!!!!!!!!!! What???
*Violet is a chatterbox! She is HILARIOUS and I'm loving this stage she's in.
*We have been attending a church here and love it. We feel so accepted by the community and are enjoying starting to get involved. I'm excited about a Women's study I just joined.
*I continue to ask God to keep my focus on Him and keep my priorities straight in my life. Its hard to not get pulled too far in one direction or the next, but I'm thankful for the almost daily reminders from older women how fast the time goes. I'm stopped often and asked the ages of our kids by older moms...they always comment : "it goes so fast...enjoy it." While I used to roll my eyes at that and secretly think "yeah, and I hope it goes just a little faster...I'm OVER these stages..." I now find myself wishing my baby wasn't going on TWO...or realizing that my sweet first born is already SIX...the time is FLYING. And as hard as it feels at times, we have chosen this life and GOD knew what He was doing. I only have one chance to be the best Mommy I can to these treasured ones and I intend to seek Him to sustain me.
