Mini-vacation

We got back last night from a mini vacation to San Diego. We went Monday morning and spent the night Monday night, then spent all day at Sea World on Tuesday. Very tiring for Jason and I - and the kids since we were in a new environment - they didn't sleep as much as at home...however...so much fun! We walked around Horton Plaza, went to Old Town and enjoyed Old Town Mexican Cafe - the place I have been going since I was a little girl with my family. Then Tuesday all day at Sea World was great too.

I am thankful for:

1) The Fair on Sunday night - we had so much fun with a bunch of friends we went with - Gavin had a great time too!

2) My first experience with a Funnel Cake - YUM!!! I have never had one and so Jason, Gavin and I shared one complete with strawberries and whipped cream (heart attack on a plate...) - DELICIOUS!

3) Natalie taking my camera and taking some really good pictures of all of us at the Fair

4) Fun in San Diego - it potentially could have been a nightmare if Ez didn't sleep very much or something, but he slept through the night - in fact after I fed him at 5:30, he slept next to me until almost 8! Meanwhile, in the other Queen bed, Jason and Gavin had been up since 6am! :-)

5) Being able to take Gavin to Sea World as his birthday present - its pretty pricey, but I'm really glad we did it - he had such a great time

6) Jason being such a helpful dad- I couldn't have done it all if he wasn't so great with our kids

7) The free movie at the spectrum today - it was the Veggie Tales movie Jonah

8) Our new sunscreen that goes on clear and you don't have to rub it on - worth the extra few bucks since both our kids have issues with sunscreen

9) Oh yeah, we got a pass for the rest of the year to Sea World for free! So we plan on going a few more times before the end of the year!

10) Jason not having to get up at 4am anymore. His hours just changed so he is around more in the morning

I will post pictures when I can get my USB ports to work again!
