Update on ME

I forgot to mention - I had my ultrasound Tuesday to find out how large or small my hernia was and starting that morning, I had no more symptoms. When I went in for the ultrasound, my stomach looked back to normal and did not pooch out as it had even the night before. So strange. I do NOT have a hernia!! YAHOO!! SO great! NO surgery. Such a relief. I had run the Thursday before and was in major pain. I could not run very fast and had to force myself along to finish my run. I had not run since then so I was cautious as I went on a run Wed pushing E and V. I was so encouraged to have a FANTASTIC run and feel GREAT the whole time. NO pain in my stomach as I had the week before. Strange. The ultrasound tech told me my stomach muscles are separated about an inch apart and might come back together on their own - everything is out of place so my stomach tends to pooch out a bit. I'm not going to hold my breath, but I'll do my best to strengthen them. They are SO weak from my pregnancies.
I have to put it all in perspective - while I wish my stomach looked different, that would mean I would have a life without Gavin, Ezekiel and Violet. They - each in their own different ways have taken captive my heart through slobbery kisses and grimy hands. Outside God and Jason, my heart beats for the 3 of them and thankfully none of them care if I have washboard abs.

Oh yeah!!!! I'm so glad! God is Good! I was wondering if my stomach did the same thing. It happened to my friend too after her last pregnancy. I wonder how many women it's happened to and they don't even know it. I would have never guessed looking at you because you are so tiny, but then again, in only see with your clothes on. haha Did they say so do stomach exercises (crunches and what not) to help it go back together, or that it's just a time thing?
