Marathon #2.
Above is the end of Marathon #1.
I look at this picture and smile. I remember the feelings at this moment - the thrill of finishing, the excitement of seeing my boys at the end, the thankfulness to God that I have legs that can do this and a body that works together so well and amazement- that I DID IT!...almost indescribable. To work and train hard and to finish well. Its so fantastic!
I was actually hesitant to sign up but Jason told me today to sign up or he was going to do it himself. I'm ultra-competitive and since my training has not quite been what I have wanted it to be, I have hesitated because I want to race well. BUT - even if I don't beat my first time (my goal), it will still be a great accomplishment and I look forward to it!

YAY, YAY, YAY!!! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU C!!! I remember this moment (i think i took that photo) so well...I remember crying as you crossed the finish line...you are dedicated in all that you do, from mommy to nurse to runner. You're going to do fantastic...no matter you're finishing time...you have conquered the hardest part of any race...training! Love you C!
