Yesterday was a long day for me...both kids were tired from being up late the night before and up early in the morning, and when Ez woke up, he was wheezing pretty bad. I gave him a breathing treatment right away and his wheezing did not clear up, so I ended up taking him to the dr... Several breathing treatments, an injection and 2 hours later, we got home. Basically the Dr. said that Ez needs to be on medication until at least April because of the pattern he has to begin wheezing at the onset of a cold (I didn't even know he had a cold yet!). By the time I got to the Dr. he was having an asthma attack and had me very worried. With the new medications I came home with, hopefully this will not happen again. After a long nap, he was very clingy and irritable. He didn't eat almost at all until dinner and THAT is not like him! So, if you pray for my kids or think to, please pray for Ez, that this will be something we only deal with a few times a year (with colds) and that it won't be "Asthma" for life (it runs in my family). With all that going on, Gavin was great and very helpful. We made a cake for the Graduation trio, colored a banner and enjoyed time with my family last night. Today Ez was a lot better, though the wheezing is still not resolved, it is so much better than Friday!
*Ez recovering after a hard day yesterday
*Gavin letting Jason cut his hair tonight - a little stressful at times, since G doesn't like the feeling of hair on him(who does?), but he wouldn't keep the towel over himself!
*Gavin's funny attention-getting antics last night as the spotlight was on Ez--Gavin isn't so used to that!
*All the dog stuff my dad brought over yesterday for us
*Wintry Blend coffee from Trader Joes
*Making an appointment to get my hair done this week
*Making plans to Christmas shop with my mom - we have so much fun together!
*My parent's generous spirit whenever we talk about spending "family time" together during the holidays. They know we all have pressure to be with all the families and are very committed to being flexible
