I might have forgotten to mention Ez's newfound love of bounce houses when I talked about going to Jason's station for the open house. That was the first one he had been in, and as you can see above, I had to be in it with him. There were some wild kids in it, but it was KILLING him not being in there. He was squirming and arching, crying and whining to get into that bounce hosue and once he was in, he was in heaven. The funny thing is Gavin is just discovering he likes them too. We went to a pumpkin patch that had one last year around this time and Gavin would not jump in it. He was too afraid. So funny to me how different my 2 boys are. Gavin the easy going, cautious one and Ez the...um...rather stubborn (where did he get that???) hard headed one that will go down a slide head first on the playground without a second thought.
*Sarah's gracious response when I backed out of our plans for tonight...the Mariners Harvest Carnival was a little too much for me to handle on only a few hours sleep. OH, and Gavin doesn't have a costume yet!
*Gavin talking to me on our run this afternoon about his traumas that he is in...he hears me tell Jason about the traumas that come in at work and has picked up the lingo. It was funny. And he kept saying : "isn't that super funny, mom?"
*Daylight savings tonight! Means I get an extra hour of sleep - except i'm pretty sure Ez will be up around 5am since I couldn't keep him up later than normal
*My new running shoes - they are so awesome! Last week I needed running shoes and a few other running accessories and I also need to get my hair done...I chose the running stuff and am not regretting it. Those of you who know how I like to get my hair done know this was a big decision.
*Our new washer and dryer that do loads twice the size of our old ones. Great!
*Jason finishing all our laundry while I was at work last night
*Gavin going right to sleep tonight and not yelling for me to : get him more books, make the shadows go away, tuck his blankets around him like a burrito, get him a snack, take him to potty, change his pajamas...you get the idea.
*Working at a learning hospital : (WARNING: GRAPHIC MATERIAL FOLLOWS (skip this one Dan!) ) Last night I was in on a trauma where they "cracked the chest" and basically did CPR right onto the patient's heart. Amazing to see!
*Time for bed... And its only 8:50 - so its only 7:50??? Great, maybe I'll stay up and read for a few minutes :-)
