marathon pics

Daniel and Bethany took some great pics of us a few weekends ago at my marathon. I love the above picture of Jason and I. My sweet husband is the ultimate supporter for me.

Too bad V wasn't looking in our family pic below! Its still good.

This was a hard race for me as I battled knee pain for most of it and what I'm fairly certain was dehydration toward the end. A marathon is as much an exercise of the mind as it is the body.

My motivation in the last few miles of this race was to see my family. I searched the crowds miles before I knew I would see them. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss them. When I finally saw them, my heart rejoiced...I had made it to my family..and the END!

Sadly, I can't find the pictures of Gavin's triathlon on our computer. AND...we picked my parents up from the airport Thursday but I don't think I took any pictures of our time together that night or Saturday when my whole family got together. Its great to have them home!
