a little hello

Last night, Jason and I decided to have a family date night to Dland. We had V nap, then ate dinner on the way and spent 4 hours with many, many other people. Most likely the majority of Southern Ca was there. However, we still managed to enjoy ourselves! We got a new camera that I was messing around with and here are a couple pics...still trying to figure out all the settings on the new camera :)
While Jason and the boys went on one ride, V and I went on a few others. We had fun together. Me, V and Baby.

Cute of G and I...not so cute of E. Sorry buddy. On a side note - whenever Jason accidentally calls V "buddy" she tells him :" I'm not a buddy! I'm a girl!" :) And oh yes she is.

Today I read a blog that reminded me that life is simple. It is about us glorifying God. Period. Jason and I are examining our lives to see that we are doing this in every area, every decision. How to teach our kids this. How to spend our money where our words are. What are we doing for the poor? The orphans? Is just buying t-shirts to support organizations enough? For me, probably not. Is it for you? Is Jesus going to ask you at the end of your life why you spent so much time or money with the poor? NO! Its going to be the opposite, I believe. The parable of the sheep and the goats is a warning to us...those who think they know Jesus or the path to salvation may not...I don't want to be scary, but I want to be encouraging. Is your life glorifying God? Is that your focus? Is HE your daily bread? Or is He 15 min slipped in while also watching tv or 50 min on Sunday?
This is it. Don't live your life with regrets of how you lived your life. We were created for one purpose.
Glorify God.
